Sephora Favorites | Paint it Pink.

For the Spring, Sephora has brought out another value-packed Sephora Favourites set that I immediately had to pick up and share with you folks. Regular readers will know that I have an obsession with the Sephora Favourites sets and have picked up plenty of them over the last 2 years (often picking up backups in the process). Not only are they so great in terms of price vs. value of products that you get, but also because they are so carefully curated meaning that there’s something for everyone. If you want to try any best-sellers, these sets are an affordable way of splurging on them without buying them separately. In case you missed it, I recently wrote about another popular Sephora Favourites set – the Give me Some Nude Lip Set.

This time around, we have the Sephora FavoritesPaint it Pink ($48, available here) set that comes with our beauty favourites with a pink theme. Pink can be a tricky colour for anywhere else but the cheeks, lips or nails, so I was really curious about what you might get here. Imagine my excitement when I saw that you get not just one, not two, but THREE full-sized products in this set, one of which includes my beloved Beauty Blender which retails for a pricey $28. I’ve never tried any Laura Mercier lip products so the Laura MercierVelour Lovers Lip Colour in French Kiss will be a good introduction.

How amazing is it that you get 2 mini-sized face products in the form of TarteAmazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful ($31, available here) and BECCA CosmeticsShimmering Skin Perfector in Pressed Rose Gold ($46, sephora.ca)? We know that the Tarte Amazonian Blush collection is one of the formula’s in the market, and Blissful is such a beautiful colour that will suit many different skintones. As for the Becca highlighter? It looks so much like the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop shade which I had bought but returned because I couldn’t justify spending that much money on something that I may or may not finish!

I was really worried about a pink eyeshadow being included, but the Urban DecayEyeshadow in Scratch ($22, available here) is a beautiful all over lid colour and can even be used as a highlighter on the cheekbones! The shade is a flattering, light salmon pink shade that will accentuate the eyes rather than make you look sick!

With 8 products included in this set, including 3 full-sized and 5 generous sizes from well-known brands, it’s not a hard decision to pick up at least 1. Even if you don’t like 1-2 of the products (I keep them for birthday gifts or Mother’s Day gifts!) this set is an amazing value! I know because I’m debating whether or not I should purchase another one…
