I wanted to create a more constant “favourites” type of post since I don’t talk about some of my favourite products often enough. I feel there are so many under-rated products in my stash that I think is so worth sharing. So, what are my five picks for this month? Read on…
1 // It’s definitely not very fair to talk about the Sephora Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Palette given that it was a limited edition palette, but I have been adoring everything in this palette. My go-to for every morning, the three eyeshadows pack a punch when it comes to texture, quality and pigmentation. The blush/bronzer duo are matte, and appears very flattering among different skintones, perfect for those who are super low-maintenance.
2 // I’ve spoken a little bit about the Tangle Teezer ($25, available here) and why it is a Must-Have in Your Beauty Bag. This still holds true as I cannot revert back to a regular brush given how effective this nifty little tool is. Perfect for traveling, and easy to pack, this has quickly gained the HG status for me.
3 // The perfect floral, barely-there scent for work is the Kenzo Flower in the Air ($90, available here). I’ve been using this daily for months and have only received compliments when wearing it. Believe it or not, it may have just replaced my long-time favourite, the D&G L’Imperatrice.
4 // I finally caved and purchased the BenefitGimme Brow ($26, available here), a product that I have only heard good things about. To be honest, it’s incredibly pricey for what it is (I could purchase the equally well-loved Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade for a couple of bucks cheaper) which has more product and thus works out slightly cheaper. However, this products wins a space in my makeup bag because it is perfect for traveling and on-the-go touch-ups.
5 // With a name as catchy as the Too FacedBetter than Sex Mascara ($30, available here), the product sets itself up for a very high standard. I have to say that I have not been disappointed. The formula lengthens and holds the curl so well, and there is no trace of smudging at the end of the day. The metallic pink tube just screams sexy to me, and I could not think of a better name for this product than what it is called now.
Now it’s your turn! Have you tried any of these products before? Which ones are your favourites? As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Share with me comment section or through Twitter or Instagram!
Agreed! The EDP has just the right amount of intensity whilst the EDP is a little too strong! Wishing there’s a cheaper alternative to the GImme Brow since it’s such a staple for me now!
Love the better than sex mascara too! I remember looking at that divergent palette in store… I’m a huge fan of the books/movie, but I usually think that movie inspired makeup isn’t that good quality, and I guess I’m wrong! I have gimme brow at home too, haven’t opened it yet though!
I’ve been super impressed with the mascara and Divergent palette! Finally watched the movie, and I finally get why it’s such a popular YA movie! Still prefer the Hunger Games triogy though!
I love my Tangle Teezzer brush as well! It makes life so much easier! I have a black one.

Right!? What was I doing before this!? It’s unreal ????
Ooh, I must give that Too Faced mascara a go! xo
I didn’t think I’d love it as much but I was so wrong!!
I love the brow gel as well. And the Tangle Teezer is on my wishlist now ????
xx
THe Gimme Brow is great! Wished it wasn’t as expensive but love love the effect of it on the brows!
I really want to try the tangle teaser! It was so nice to finally meet you in real life at Spark Sessions ????
Likewise Megan! Glad to seeyou there as wel and finall putting a face to a name/twitter handle lol!
I would love to try the fragrance, i remember i smelled it at Sephora and i liked it !
I like Flower in the Air, too! The EDT not so much, not the original EDP is good ???? I actually caved in and purchased Gimme Brow just last night! Got to photograph it soon and give it a proper go! I agree it’s really pricey (you don’t want to know how much it is here in Europe. Le sigh), but I bought into the hype because it promises more brow hair (which I don’t have)!
