A very exciting new item just arrived at theFantasia beauty HQ which I cannot wait to share with you! When Make Up For Ever announced the brand’s first ever brand campaign entitled “Be Bold. Be Beautiful. Be You.” and has collaborated with Andreja Pejić and Jamie Chung, I was quite excited by the personalities chosen by the brand! As part of this collaboration, the brand has released two limited edition quads available starting from July 19th, each of which was curated by Andreja and Jamie respectively.
The Be Bold. Be Beautiful. Be You. palette curated by Andreja Pejić and Jamie Chung ($56, available here). The palette is beautifully encased in a square magnetic tin featuring 4 full-sized Artist Shadows which can be purchased individually, as a duo or as a trio ($24-50).
Things must be quite busy at the Make Up For Ever HQ with these new launches, so quickly after the new summer launches. The palette I’ve selected is the one curated by Andreja Pejić. Initially, I had wanted to go with Jamie’s palette with its bold colours but I was definitely struck by how beautifully wearable Andreja’s palette.
You’ll know that I’m a huge fan of the Artist Shadows with its famous gel-like formula that has incredible pigmentation and wear time. If you haven’t tried it, this product is a must-have. I highly recommend you at least try to swatch it at Sephora.
The Andreja palette features four beautiful daytime colours to ensure you are ready for any kinds of events. A quick sweep of I-526 / Pearl Beige all over the lid to wake up the face. The beautiful balance of beige without too much yellow and minimal amount of shimmer looks amazing on my golden-toned skin. When paired with I-662 / Amber Brown, you get your everyday daytime look. If you want to switch things up a little bit, and wear a slightly more unique colour for your everyday daytime look, the I-544 / Pink Granite is a lovely warm-toned purple (as opposed to the name implies) that wears equally beautifully. If you want to smoke things out further, wearing the D652 / Celestial Earth looks absolutely lovely to balance out the purple from being too overly dramatic. It is a great colour to wear paired with I-622 as well for a bronze-y, smokey look a la Adriana Lima or Gisele Bundchen.
Now it’s your turn! Have you tried the Artist Shadow palette? What do you think of this collaboration? As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Share with me comment section or through Twitter or Instagram!
The eyeshadows are actually full-sized which means this is such a deal considering 3 colours will set you back $50!! I love the idea of this campaign of celebrating beauty!
What a fun, glamorous campaign! Love the shimmery neutrals in this quad- my kind of shades ????
I agree – this campaign is not only glamorous and beautiful but also so empowering to women everywhere!
I feel it’s a bit pricy for four shadows, although I love the shades, but they’re so large it might be worth it!
