One of the perks (and cons) of being a beauty blogger, is the constant exposure to so beauty launches! More often than not, this means spending excessively on new launches, this time it is the Make Up For Ever Summer 2015 launches. There are plenty of launches that make me want to weep for my credit card, and there are those that are a relief to my wallet. Needless to say, it’s a constant struggle of wants and “I already have more than enough!”
Spring and summer releases tend to be the most exciting with vibrant hues, range extensions – the list could go on and on. New makeup makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. So if you are a fan of colours and staying on top of beauty trends, these Make Up For Ever Summer 2015 releases will set your heart racing!
Firstly, let’s go over the exciting Make Up For Ever Summer 2015 launches with the new Pro Bronze Fusion ($42, available here), a range of bronzer for beginners and pro alike with Make Up For Ever’s innovative gel-powder formula that I’ve raved in the past for (See my reviews on the Artist Shadow). The embossed wave design is reminiscent of MAC’s Extra Dimension range of powders and eyeshadows. The firm texture can make getting colour off the pan a little challenging, however the beauty of the product is that you can easily build up the colour with its more sheer application. The range with six colours, were launched with the #136 Pro Bronze Kabuki Brush ($38, available here), however I’ve had great success with other face brushes with similar density and shape (i.e. Real Techniques face brushes)
Next on our list are the colourful and bright extensions of the Make Up For EverAqua Matic range ($26, available here). You might recall the lovely navy blue shade I had reviewed in a previous post, but guys, if you only buy one colour this summer, make it the Diamond Light Turquoise D-21. It’s a colour that reminds me so much of the ocean with this distinct shimmery mermaid colour. We also have the classic matte black colour aptly called Matte Black M-11. The range extension makes it impossible to choose – The crease-less formula, blendable and excellent waterproof formula makes both colours a key staple for everyday use or seasons that demand colours.
The last and my favourite colour of the release is the Aquarouge #23 – Apricot Pink ($29, available here). It’s more the colour that got me more than the formula, because seriously, this colour is exactly what I wear on a regular basis: it’s similar in tones, and balance of pink and coral to the DiorRouge Baume in Milly and MACShy Girl. It’s become my lipgloss substitute for the lip shades mentioned earlier. Not only is the colour fantastic, but the staying powder on the lips is quite impressive. It doesn’t easily disappeared after drinking or eating.
As always, I think Make Up For Ever has brought their A-game with these releases – the colour extension to the Aqua Matic range that adds a pop of colour to an otherwise okay outfit and makeup, as well as finding the perfect lipgloss shade that matches my everyday lip colour are very exciting. I hope this release provides you with some ideas for your next shopping trip!

The bronzer is stunning, love it!!!!
Love that turquoise! Would be perfect on the lower lashline for a pop of colour!
The MUFE bronzers look amazing. I’ve also enjoyed their new Plexi Glosses (his is coming for a girl that hates glosses).
