Conveniently, unlike most Weekly Wow deals, I spotted a bunch of everyday colors that I love as part of this deal. I picked up the GuerlainLa Petite Robe Noire Lip Colour’Ink Candid to try out!
The Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lip Colour’Ink is the brand’s more sheer and buildable liquid lipstick range. I have reviewed a number of the brand’s La Petite Robe Noire range, which is marketed towards a younger audience and features bolder colors.
The range is a spinoff from the iconic La Petite Robe Noire fragrance which is also marketed to a younger audience. You can really tell that this range is meant for a younger audience by the shade name which features a hashtag to go with it.
With that said, I think having a buildable liquid lipstick option is a great idea – one layer for the office/class, and a second layer to turn it into an evening-appropriate look. There are some really bold color options here too including a blue that’s meant to change your lipstick color, a dark
The Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lip Colour’Ink comes in very similar packaging as the rest of the range – with its iconic upside-down spade and simplistic look. An improvement from the lipstick range which has the spade detail positioned where you would hold them, which makes them look and feel quite fragile.
The square-ish tube is actually quite convenient (again, very much in line with the rest of the range) as it doesn’t roll around easily and makes it easily organized/stackable.
The applicator itself doesn’t have anything unique about it and there is a light floral scent that’s very much reminiscent of the Guerlain range. The texture itself is quite thin, so you can get a lot of coverage with a quick swipe.
It dries down quickly as you would expect from the formula and that makes it easy to layer a second and third layer if needed. I didn’t find patchiness to be an issue with the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lip Colour’Ink colour L113 Candid.

I was really impressed by the texture and weightless feel – you really don’t notice the liquid lipstick there, even after two layers. The matte finish makes it the perfect no-fuss color to have as a staple shade.
The Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lip Colour’Ink is an impressive liquid lipstick range worth checking out if you’re in the market for one. It’s a little overpriced and there are decent, less-expensive alternatives available.
If you’ve been saving those gift cards, these are worth splurging on! The next time you spot them on sale or on the Weekly Wow page, get them before they’re gone!
