The Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle ($105, available here) is the third launch from Chloe’s Love Story line which includes the original Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum versions. Just like other two, this perfume is inspired by Parisian romance, and even the bottle itself reflects that vibe! You might recognize a highly iconic part of Paris when you’re looking at the bottle… see it yet? The padlocks on the Pont des Arts!
Chloe’s fragrance range continues to be one of my favourites – I’d been fortunate enough to receive the original Chloe Eau de Parfum which is one of my most treasured possessions. The easily recognizable, iconic and elegant scent quickly replaced a lot of my favourite pieces and became the standout, go-to fragrance of choice.
Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle
A few weeks ago, I was really fortunate to be invited to Dave Lackie’s Love Story Breakfast to celebrate the launch of the Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle. This fragrance was created by same perfumers who created the previous two versions – Anne Flipo and Domitille Bertier. The new Eau Sensuelle fragrance features new facets of the original Love Story ingredient, the orange blossom.
The orange blossom in the Eau Sensuelle version is sweeter and more romantic than ever. It is complemented with velvety sandalwood and sunny notes of vanilla of heliotrope. The Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle is a treat and delight for the olfactory senses – lively, elegant and passionately feminine – just like the original, without being overly sweet!
This fragrance, is no doubt, the one that is perfect to don for a date night or a girl’s night out. Chloe is beautifully feminine, yet elegant and put-together. I love the way my clothes smell when I wear Chloe… it lingers, and I can’t stop smelling myself!
The iconic padlock and lock-inspired glass bottle reflects not only the city of Paris (Pont des Arts) but also the Chloe fashion house. The distinctive pleated design reflects one of the many things the fashion house is well-recognized for. The blush pink juice is an ode to memories of lovers meeting at the Ponts des Arts during the magic hour!
Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle #LoveChloe Breakfast
As mentioned, I was very fortunate to have been invited to the event a few weeks ago. We got to breakfast in style at the lovely Colétte Grand Café on King St which is one of my favourite brunch spots in the city and also where several scenes from Suits was also shot! We enjoyed a delightful selection of freshly-baked, rich and decadent French pastries, petit-fours and delicious coffee to start the morning right! For the breakfast, I dove right into these fluffy blueberry pancakes!
If these pictures don’t immediately make you want to go to Paris or spritz yourself with Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle, then I don’t know what would!
Here are a few shots from the breakfast!
